Personal Data Protection Law

Our firm provides comprehensive legal advisory services to clients within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). We guide our clients through every stage of the compliance process, planning and implementing the necessary steps to ensure that companies comply with the KVKK. In this context, we provide detailed guidance to clients on the KVKK and the compliance process, conduct training sessions, and prepare relevant presentations and materials.
We analyse our clients’ personal data processing activities, establish a tailored compliance roadmap, and prepare and regularly update personal data inventories. As part of this process, we identify the categories of data subjects whose personal data is processed, including employees, job applicants, dealers, suppliers and visitors. We prepare privacy notices and, where required, explicit consent forms for each relevant category and provide solutions for ensuring that these documents are properly communicated to the respective data subjects.
We also prepare documents required under the KVKK, including personal data retention and destruction policies, privacy policies and cookie policies, and provide support with VERBİS registrations and updates. We conduct legal assessments concerning the transfer of personal data within Türkiye and abroad, and prepare the necessary notices, undertakings and agreements.
